Challenge: Qdoba Mexican Grill launched its first BOGO for a Kiss Valentine’s Day promotion in 2011 with an emphasis on local market media attention. In 2012, Qdoba once again leveraged GFM’s Strategic Communications team to expand the national footprint of the popular BOGO promotion and ensure coverage in both local markets and national outlets to drive in-restaurant sales on February 14. Children’s Hospital Colorado and USA Pro Cycling Challenge Partnership Announcement
Challenge: GroundFloor Media (GFM) has served as Children's Hospital Colorado's (Children’s Colorado) agency of record for the past five years. Recently, GFM was asked to coordinate a media event that capitalized on the buzz and excitement of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge to launch Bikes for Life. A partnership between Children’s Colorado, UnitedHealthcare and the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, Bikes for Life is a new three-year program designed to promote the health benefits of cycling to Colorado’s youth, helping curb the growing prevalence of childhood obesity. GroundFloor Media Makes a Splash with the USA Swimming Foundation
Challenge: GroundFloor Media (GFM) was engaged by the USA Swimming Foundation to promote Make a Splash, a national child-focused water safety initiative. Specifically, GFM’s strategic communications team was tasked with garnering traditional and non-traditional media coverage for the national Make a Splash tour, featuring Olympian Cullen Jones and presented by ConocoPhillips. The plan was to visit six cities to educate parents and children, especially those within the Hispanic and African-American communities, about the life-or-death issue of learning how to swim and general safety tips in and around the water. What If? Colorado Reality Competition Challenges Emergency Survival Skills
Challenge: The Emergency Preparedness and Response Division (EPRD) of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment sought to help increase the number of Colorado residents who assemble home emergency preparedness kits and receive seasonal influenza vaccinations. The EPRD partnered with GroundFloor Media (GFM) to build awareness for these initiatives through a reality competition. [more]
